Lavayoo Eye Mask
The Lavayoo Eye Mask makes the most incredible odorless warm moist eye compress out there. It can be used moist or dry and even icy cold. It is amazing at soothing head aches and migraines and clogged ducts.
Lavayoo Small
The Lavayoo Small is our most affordable Lava Sand Heating Pad and can be used for cramps, aches and pains, it is great for kids. Weighing 3 lbs it is our lightest heating pad we offer. It makes an excellent heating pad or amazing ice pack.
Use Instructions
Lavayoo Small Heating:

Microwave: Heat for approximately 2 minutes. Most microwaves work well at this time, but you may need to adjust slightly to suit your preference. Do not exceed 3 minutes and 30 seconds.

Oven/Air Fryer: Place on a cookie sheet to keep it clean. Heat at 200°F for 20–30 minutes. You may increase the heat slightly for faster warming, but avoid overheating—skin can burn at around 150°F.
Lavayoo Eye Mask Heating:

Moist Heat Compress
- Step 1- Take the Lavayoo Eye Mask out of the cover and get the cover damp and ring out any excess water. Put back in cover once damp.
- Step 2- Place it in the microwave for 60 seconds. Be careful not to overheat.
- Step 3- Lay down and place the Moist Eye Mask with the damp towel side over your eyes.

Dry Heat
- Step 1- Simply microwave the Eye Mask for 60 seconds in the microwave with the cover on or off.
- Step 2- Lay down and place the warm dry Eye Mask over your eyes with the towel side facing away from your eyes. That way more heat can go towards your eyes instead of out into the room.
Cooling:

Place the Lavayoo inside a sealed plastic bag (like Lavayoo Ice Bags) to keep out freezer odors. Freeze for 1–2 hours, or store in the freezer so it’s always ready for use.
- After pulling the eye mask out of the freezer put the towel side of the cover facing away from you. That way the towel side will insulate and keep more of the cold going into your eyes instead of out into the room.
Washing:

Lavayoos can be washed by hand or in the dishwasher if needed, unlike food-filled heating pads. Watch this video to learn.

Dishwasher: Place on the top rack and run a normal cycle.

Drying: Place on a cookie sheet in the oven at 200°F for about 1 hour or until completely dry. Fine sand particles may come through the fabric; simply dust them off.
In Case of Damage:

The lava sand lasts forever, but the fabric may wear out over time. Replacement bags are available for purchase. Simply transfer the sand to a new bag and:

Sew it shut if you have a sewing machine, or

Use the included fabric glue to seal the opening.
